With Pittshanger Lane in Ealing, our client had been the owner of a large parade of 25 shops and 44 flats for many years. When he met with us for advice with a new purchase, he mentioned this parade and we realised that this site had development potential. We undertook an in depth review of the surrounding area and advised on the potential for an upwards extension of 2 floors creating an additional 44 flats. We took this for pre-app and received a positive response. Planning application was submitted but due to immense local pressure we were advised to withdraw and reconsider. Revised planning application to be submitted for a 1 floor extension creating 22 new flats.
